An announcement from Scorpion Minerals Limited ( (AU:SCN) ) is now available.

Scorpion Minerals has outlined a new Exploration Target at the Old Prospect zone within its Pharos Gold Project in Western Australia, modelling 1.0–3.0 million tonnes at 1.5–2.0 grams per tonne gold to a depth of 170 metres and demonstrating significant scale and continuity of mineralisation. The target, which sits alongside an existing JORC 2012 Mineral Resource of 312,400 tonnes at 2.15 grams per tonne for 21,600 ounces, remains open along strike and at depth, and will be tested by a follow-up drilling campaign aimed at growing resources and supporting potential mine development via a strategic processing arrangement with Gylden Resources at the nearby Kirkalocka plant.

Drilling to date at Old Prospect has returned multiple high-grade intercepts across oxide, transitional and sulphide zones in a steeply west-dipping, north-plunging structure extending at least 700 metres along strike. By combining extensive RC and diamond drilling data with detailed 3D geological modelling, Scorpion is positioning Old Prospect as a potentially significant satellite source of gold feed within its broader Murchison portfolio, reinforcing the strategic value of its dominant land position along a largely untested regional shear corridor and underpinning future project advancement activities.
