Schroder British Opportunities Trust plc announced the upcoming retirement of Rory Bateman, Co-Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Investment at Schroders, in February 2025. Bateman has been instrumental in managing the public equity portfolio since the company’s IPO in 2020 and will continue his role until retirement, working with the existing management team. The company is currently considering options for the future of the public equity portion of their portfolio, which made up 22.6% of their unaudited NAV as of June 30, 2024.
