Scholastic Corp. (SCHL) just unveiled an announcement.
On March 12, 2024, stockholders of a company expanded its Board of Directors to eleven members, creating two vacancies. Subsequently, on March 20, 2024, Alix Guerrier and Kaya Henderson were elected to fill these positions. Guerrier, with a rich background in education and nonprofit leadership, and Henderson, a prominent figure in education reform and leadership, both bring a wealth of experience to the board. They have since joined the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and received pro-rata stock awards as part of their compensation as non-employee directors.
