Savannah Resources ( (GB:SAV) ) has issued an update.
Savannah Resources has updated the development timetable for its Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal, targeting completion of its Definitive Feasibility Study and environmental licence compliance process in July 2026. The company says sufficient technical work has been completed to allow these studies to proceed without further field data, with additional information to be incorporated into later engineering phases.
Savannah expects to secure a final environmental licence in the third quarter of 2026 and reach a final investment decision by year-end, while reiterating guidance for commissioning and first production in 2028, subject to financing and remaining approvals. The company has also begun tendering for Front-End Engineering Design work, positioning the project to advance towards construction and eventual supply of lithium for Europe’s electric-vehicle battery market.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:SAV) stock is a Buy with a £11.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Savannah Resources stock, see the GB:SAV Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SAV Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SAV is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue, recurring losses, and elevated cash burn with negative operating and free cash flow). Technicals provide a partial offset due to strong momentum and price strength versus key moving averages, though overbought RSI adds risk. Valuation contributes little support because the negative P/E reflects ongoing losses and no dividend yield is available.
