Savannah Resources Advances European Lithium Project

Savannah Resources (GB:SAV) has released an update.

Savannah Resources Plc, the owner of Europe’s largest spodumene lithium deposit, is propelling the continent’s energy transition with its Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal, slated to start production by 2026. The company has bolstered its financial position through a strategic partnership with AMG Critical Materials N.V., securing a GBP 16 million investment for a significant stake and spodumene offtake agreement. This move aligns with the European Commission’s goal for local lithium production and promises socio-economic benefits while prioritizing environmental responsibility.
