Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has announced the repurchase of 2,855,300 of its common shares, totaling 4,981,925,500 yen, between July 1 and July 31, 2024. This buyback is part of a larger repurchase program approved by the board on May 9, 2024, which allows for a maximum of 21,110,000 shares to be bought back. To date, the company has repurchased 9,973,000 shares for 16,342,935,400 yen under this program.
