Sandon Capital Investments Limited announced that its takeover offer for Carbon Conscious Investments Ltd is now unconditional and free from defeating conditions, with the company currently holding a 90.03% voting power in CCIL. Shareholders of CCIL have the incentive to accept the offer before it closes on 8 July 2024 to expedite their consideration receipt, as compared to the compulsory acquisition process. Alterra Ltd, holding a significant portion of CCIL shares, has indicated its intention to accept the offer pending shareholder approval.
