Sanderson Design Group PLC has successfully transferred the financial risks of the Abaris Holdings Limited Pension Scheme to an insurer, with a cash settlement of £2.3 million from its own resources and the scheme’s investments. The deal relieves the Group from future funding shortfalls due to market fluctuations for the pension scheme, which has been closed to new members since 2005. The company anticipates no impact on its adjusted profit before tax from the scheme’s ongoing administration and advisory costs.
