San Lorenzo Gold Corp ( (TSE:SLG) ) has issued an update.
San Lorenzo Gold Corp. has expanded its land position at the Cerro Blanco target on its Salvadora property in Chile by securing an option on Mirasol Resources’ Rubi project and acquiring additional contiguous claims, adding a total of 2,900 hectares. The new ground extends the north-south strike length of the Cerro Blanco system from 2 kilometers to 6 kilometers, giving the company broader access to visible alteration zones and surface litho-cap features.
The company has already drilled three holes on the eastern side of the Cerro Blanco litho-cap, with prior assays indicating significant gold intercepts, and it plans a further hole to test a strong IP anomaly once terrain constraints are resolved. San Lorenzo is preparing expanded IP surveys to the north and south of existing lines, followed by additional drilling aimed at extending the known strike length and confirming the sub-vertical nature of mineralization, positioning Cerro Blanco/Rubi as an increasingly compelling exploration target within its portfolio.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:SLG) stock is a Hold with a C$2.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on San Lorenzo Gold Corp stock, see the TSE:SLG Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on SLG Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SLG is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue profile, ongoing losses, and negative cash flow with increasing debt). Technicals provide some support due to strong trend and positive MACD, but extremely overbought RSI/Stoch limit upside confidence. Valuation remains unattractive/unclear because earnings are negative and there is no dividend yield.
