Samko Timber Limited has announced the appointment of Ms Meriana Ang and Mr Timotius as Independent Directors, effective from 15 May 2024, resulting in a reconstitution of the Board and its Committees. The changes include Ms Ang taking on the role of Lead Independent Director and chairing the Audit Committee, while Mr Timotius will chair the Nomination, Remuneration, and Board Risk Committees. The Board has affirmed the independence of both new members in compliance with the SGX-ST Listing Manual.
