Sama Resources Inc. has unveiled encouraging projections for its Samapleu-Grata Nickel-Copper project in Côte d’Ivoire, with the new Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) revealing a 16-year lifespan producing copper and nickel concentrates, and a notable pre-tax net present value (NPV) of US$463M. The project’s potential also includes significant by-products such as platinum and palladium, and with a post-tax internal rate of return (IRR) of 22.3%, it represents a substantial growth in indicated mineral resources by 29% from the previous year. Furthermore, the acquisition of a 60% project stake by Ivanhoe Electric highlights the project’s expansion prospects and exploration opportunities.
