Salmon Evolution ASA ( (DE:60E) ) just unveiled an update.
Salmon Evolution ASA has started operations of phase 2 at its Indre Harøy land-based salmon farming facility and completed the first smolt release, with fish adapting well and feeding underway in line with expectations. Including this new phase, the company plans to release about 2.8 million smolt at the site in 2026, representing roughly a 60% increase from 2025.
Management says phase 2 will more than double Indre Harøy’s capacity and marks a major step-change for the business, leveraging four years of experience from phase 1 to create a larger-scale, more efficient platform. The expanded facility is expected to strengthen Salmon Evolution’s position in sustainable land-based salmon farming while materially boosting cash flow generation and transforming its earnings capacity as volumes ramp up.
