Compagnie de Saint-Gobain has announced its intention to delist its ordinary shares from the London Stock Exchange, ending the secondary listing and trading of its CREST Depository Interests in London due to persistently low trading volumes. The company will retain its primary listing on Euronext Paris, where it expects no impact for shareholders already holding shares there, while investors holding CDIs in London are advised to consult brokers on converting their positions into shares tradable on Euronext Paris; no shareholder vote is required for this move under the company’s current UK listing category.
