An update from Compagnie de Saint Gobain ( (FR:SGO) ) is now available.
Saint-Gobain has strengthened its position in Indonesia’s construction chemicals market by forming a joint venture with Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa to acquire Indocement’s mortars business, which operates three production lines under the Tiga Roda brand and generated an estimated €20 million in sales in 2025. The joint venture, 60% owned by Saint-Gobain and 40% by Indocement, will combine Tiga Roda’s strong presence in white skim coat finishing products with Saint-Gobain’s leading mortars business Cipta Mortar Utama, its network of 8 mortars production lines and 30,000 points of sale, and its broader GCP and FOSROC construction chemicals portfolio to accelerate growth in Indonesia’s promising mortars market, reinforcing the group’s “Lead & Grow” strategy and expanding its footprint in high‑growth construction chemicals globally.
