Safilo Group SpA ( (IT:SFL) ) has issued an announcement.
Safilo Group S.p.A., the Italian-listed eyewear specialist, has updated its share capital structure following the issuance of 88,747 new ordinary shares to service its 2020–2022 stock option plan, without changing the overall nominal value of its capital. The fully subscribed and paid-up share capital now amounts to €384,912,456.25, represented by 415,726,889 ordinary shares, slightly up from 415,638,142 shares previously.
The new shares carry the same rights as existing ordinary shares and reflect the company’s ongoing use of equity-based incentives to align management and employee interests with those of shareholders. Safilo has filed the related statement with the Padua Companies Register and will make its updated Articles of Association available to the public at its headquarters, via a centralized storage system and on its corporate website, reinforcing transparency for investors and other stakeholders.
