Safe Bulkers Expands Eco-Friendly Fleet

Safe Bulkers (SB) has released an update.

Safe Bulkers, Inc., a prominent marine drybulk transportation service provider, has announced the acquisition of a new eco-friendly Japanese Kamsarmax class dry-bulk vessel, set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2027. The vessel will adhere to the latest environmental and emissions standards, including the IMO’s Energy Efficiency Design Index and NOx Tier III regulations. This addition is part of the company’s strategy to modernize its fleet in line with stringent CO2 emission regulations.
