Sachem Capital ( (SACH) ) has shared an announcement.

On May 17, 2026, Sachem Capital agreed a strategic contribution deal with Industrial Realty Group Global under which IRG will contribute 98 industrial properties valued at about $2.9 billion into a new operating partnership controlled by Sachem. In return, IRG will receive operating partnership units and non‑economic Class B voting stock, resulting in IRG holding roughly 94.1% of the combined platform and Sachem shareholders retaining about 5.9%.

Ahead of closing, expected by the end of 2026, Sachem plans to reorganize as a Delaware corporation, execute a 20‑to‑1 reverse stock split and rebrand as IRG Realty Trust, positioning itself as a top‑10 publicly listed industrial REIT with an implied enterprise value of about $3.4 billion. The transaction shifts Sachem from a subscale mortgage REIT into a large industrial REIT focused on mission‑critical manufacturing and distribution assets, reshapes governance with IRG securing majority voting power via Class B shares, and is intended to improve scale, cost of capital, and long‑term cash‑flow prospects for stakeholders, subject to shareholder approval and customary closing conditions.

The most recent analyst rating on (SACH) stock is a Hold with a $1.25 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Sachem Capital stock, see the SACH Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on SACH Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SACH is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weakened financial performance (recent losses, negative returns, and leverage risk) despite positive operating/free cash flow. Valuation is supportive with a low P/E and very high dividend yield, while technicals show moderate positive momentum. Corporate events add a modest positive tilt due to funding-term extensions and signs of stabilization, but margin and book-value pressure temper the impact.
