Sachem Capital (SACH) has shared an update.
Nicholas M. Marcello has been appointed as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of Sachem Capital Corp, stepping into the role previously held by John L. Villano, who retains his positions as Chairman, CEO, and President of the company. With no family ties to the current board or executive team, Marcello brings a wealth of experience to the role, having overseen capital market activities, portfolio management, and operations within the company since 2020. His prior experience includes serving as Assistant Controller at Waypoint Real Estate Investments and starting his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Investment Management Group. Marcello holds a B.S. from Providence College and both an M.B.A and M.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University.
