Royal KPN NV (GB:0O8F) has released an update.
Royal KPN NV is set to issue a €500 million Green Hybrid Bond to fund eco-friendly projects, in line with its sustainability goals. The bond, treated as half equity and half debt by credit agencies, will also be used to manage the firm’s hybrid capital and reduce interest costs. Additionally, KPN has launched a tender offer to repurchase €500 million in outstanding perpetual hybrid capital securities.
