Rottneros AB ( (SE:RROS) ) has issued an update.
Rottneros AB has appointed industry veteran Per Bjurbom as its new president and CEO, effective 12 March 2026, replacing acting chief executive Magnus Wikström. Bjurbom brings more than 35 years of international leadership experience from Nordic Paper, Billerud, Holmen and Stora Enso, and is expected by the board to drive strategic development, operational turnarounds and business growth at the pulp and packaging group.
The leadership change marks the end of an interim period under acting CEO Wikström, whom the board thanked for providing stability during the search for a permanent chief. With Bjurbom’s track record in pulp, paper and packaging, the move underscores Rottneros’ ambitions to strengthen its competitive position and accelerate business development in its core market pulp operations and growing fiber-based packaging activities.
