Hemlo Explorers ( (TSE:RSG) ) has provided an announcement.
Rocky Shore Gold has reported new mineral resource estimates for the Mosquito Hill and Reid deposits at its Gold Anchor Project in central Newfoundland, confirming both as bulk-tonnage open-pit gold deposits with low strip ratios. The combined in-pit resources total 18.51 million tonnes of Indicated material grading 0.48 g/t gold for 284,925 ounces and 45.43 million tonnes of Inferred material grading 0.45 g/t gold for 623,085 ounces, highlighting substantial contained gold and expansion potential.
Management emphasized that only about 15% of the Gold Anchor Project has been systematically explored, underscoring significant upside through further drilling and exploration. A fully funded 2026 program including airborne geophysics, prospecting, sampling and diamond drilling is planned to pursue new discoveries and expand existing resources, reinforcing the project’s role as a cornerstone asset in the company’s growth strategy.
