Roboai ( (AIIO) ) has shared an update.
On February 9, 2026, Robo.ai Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary Robo.ai Investments L.L.C.-FZ, signed a 10-year joint venture agreement with U.S.-based DaBoss.AI Inc. to create an Embodied AI Data Collection Center under UAE law, with Robo.ai holding 51% and consolidating the venture, and DaBoss.AI overseeing technical and commercial operations while Robo.ai manages infrastructure and regulatory support. The JV will have exclusive rights to robotic data collection and annotation business within the Gulf Cooperation Council, launch an initial distributed data collection network in the United Arab Emirates as its first project, position Dubai as a neutral global hub for high-standard embodied intelligence datasets and robotics data standards, and include governance mechanisms such as reserved matters protections for DaBoss.AI, potential future shareholders, and standard shareholder rights that shape control, risk allocation, and strategic expansion for both partners.
The joint venture’s governance gives Robo.ai board and financial consolidation control while reserving key veto rights and technical authority for DaBoss.AI, balancing influence and protecting core IP and data assets. By concentrating regional robotic data collection demand into the new vehicle and aiming to serve global top-tier robotics OEMs and AI developers from Dubai, the structure is designed to strengthen Robo.ai’s presence in GCC robotics infrastructure, secure long-term access to embodied AI datasets, and potentially make the JV a benchmark provider for Middle East robotics data quality and compliance.
