Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited ( (AU:RIM) ) has issued an announcement.
Rimfire Pacific Mining has exercised an option to acquire 100% of exploration licence EL8666 from Javelin Minerals via $125,000 in Rimfire shares, consolidating ownership of the Rabbit Trap Scandium Project in central New South Wales. EL8666 hosts the Malamute Scandium Prospect, which, combined with Rimfire’s adjoining EL9748, strengthens the company’s control over a key scandium district north of its Fifield and Avondale projects.
Recent air core drilling at Malamute has confirmed thick, laterite-hosted scandium mineralisation across a 700m by 400m footprint, returning multiple high-grade intercepts up to 44m thick and remaining open to the north and east. Management says the acquisition and encouraging results underscore the project’s potential to materially expand Rimfire’s scandium resource base, supported by several nearby magnetic anomalies that may indicate further scandium‑prospective ultramafic targets yet to be effectively drill tested.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:RIM) stock is a Hold with a A$0.01 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited stock, see the AU:RIM Stock Forecast page.
