Rightmove plc has publicly acknowledged that it has not been approached by REA Group Ltd regarding a potential acquisition offer, advising shareholders to hold steady for the time being. As per the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, REA has until the end of September to declare its intentions to either proceed with an offer or step down. Further updates from Rightmove will be communicated as the situation develops.
