Reward Minerals Limited ( (AU:RWD) ) has shared an announcement.

Reward Minerals used the March quarter to broaden its portfolio beyond potash by acquiring the Mountain Pond Gold Project in Newfoundland, where historic sampling has returned high-grade gold and copper values, and by confirming compelling copper prospectivity at its Copper Lance Project through rock chip and soil assays. Neither Canadian project has been drill tested, positioning the company for high-impact maiden drilling, while it also advanced tenure and data work on its Western Australian gold, copper and gypsum projects.

In parallel, the company pushed its potash strategy by courting joint ventures with solar seawater salt and desalination firms, aiming to use discarded and reject brines to produce high-purity sulphate of potash and magnesium products via its proprietary processing technology and the Beyondie SOP plant. Engagements at the Future Minerals Forum in Saudi Arabia and ongoing talks with Middle Eastern groups underscore Reward’s ambition to leverage established salt infrastructure to become a low-cost, globally relevant SOP producer, with potential upside for investors if commercial agreements are secured.
