Resource Base Limited ( (AU:RBX) ) has shared an update.
Resource Base has completed a geological review of historic exploration data across its EL7060 licence, about 15 kilometres south of Tarcoola in the northern Gawler Craton. The analysis drew on historic drilling, geochemistry, petrology and regional geophysics sourced from the South Australian Resources Information Gateway.
The work identified lithologies interpreted as anorthosite in historic drillhole TA100 and multiple drillholes with anomalous titanium values above 1% Ti, peaking at about 1.5% Ti. These results point to a potential titanium-enriched mafic or anorthositic intrusive system, making EL7060 one of the few known anorthosite complexes in the Gawler Craton and prompting Resource Base to undertake further geological and geophysical interpretation to define exploration targets.
