Repsol plans to invest between 8.5 billion and 10 billion euros through 2028, with 55% of spending earmarked for Spain and Portugal and 34% for the United States, and around 30% dedicated to low-carbon projects. The company expects operating cash flow to reach 6.5 billion euros in 2028, leveraging its integrated model and strong balance sheet to support growth, improve competitiveness, and advance its net-zero 2050 commitment.

The updated 2026-2028 roadmap, unveiled at Capital Markets Day, reaffirms strategic priorities of financial strength, disciplined investment, and attractive shareholder returns, with planned cash dividends of 3.6 billion euros and total payout targeted at 30%-40% of operating cash flow. Repsol also outlines business-specific goals, including upstream output of 580,000-600,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, industrial investments of up to 4.1 billion euros, and expansion of low-carbon generation capacity to as much as 9,000 MW, underscoring its push to consolidate its multi-energy profile despite a volatile geopolitical backdrop.
