RELX PLC has purchased 74,913 of its own ordinary shares through JP Morgan Securities plc, which will now be held as treasury shares. This latest acquisition brings the company’s total treasury holdings to 44,710,271 shares, with the overall shares in issue (excluding those in treasury) standing at 1,864,531,823. The company has been actively buying back shares since the start of the year, totaling 24,998,078 shares to date.
