RELX PLC has reported the purchase of 161,805 of its ordinary shares through JP Morgan Securities plc, which will be held as treasury shares. This brings the total treasury shares to 31,538,494, while the company has 1,876,763,019 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). The move is part of an ongoing buyback, with RELX PLC having acquired 11,826,301 ordinary shares since the start of the year.
