Relx PLC has announced a significant stock purchase, acquiring 148,856 of its own ordinary shares through JP Morgan Securities plc, which will now be held as treasury shares. This move increases Relx PLC’s treasury holdings to 25,929,992 shares, while excluding these, the company has 1,882,202,792 shares in issue. The purchase is part of a larger buy-back program that has seen Relx PLC buy 6,217,799 shares since the start of the year.
