Regis Resources Ltd. has announced the green light for the Havana Underground Project, an extension of the Tropicana Gold Mine operations, which promises to boost gold production by a significant margin between 2027 and 2029. The venture, jointly approved by Tropicana partners, is projected to yield a 30% incremental increase in gold output, with Regis investing $34M for its 30% stake. Leveraging existing infrastructure, the new underground mine will enhance the value of the Tropicana operations, with anticipated high returns and cost-effective production.
