Redivium Limited, in collaboration with Retela AR Europe, is set to explore the development of a lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Czechia. This initiative aims to utilize environmentally-friendly hydrometallurgical technology to recycle end-of-life batteries from electric vehicles and other sources, with potential access to markets across Czechia, Slovakia, and neighboring EU territories. The collaboration represents a strategic milestone for Redivium as it seeks to expand its recycling technology deployment across Europe, leveraging Retela’s established presence in the electronic waste and battery recycling sectors, which is supported by key vehicle OEMs in the region. This partnership aims to address the rising demand for sustainable battery production and recycling in Europe.
