Redflow Limited has secured a combined grant and community funding of A$19.6 million for its 6.6 MWh long-duration energy storage project with the Barona Tribe in California, set to enhance sustainability and resiliency. The project, backed by the California Energy Commission, will leverage Redflow’s innovative zinc-bromine battery technology and is expected to commence in fiscal year 2026. This marks Redflow’s fourth collaboration with the CEC, reinforcing its commitment to California’s decarbonization goals and the growing demand for clean energy solutions.
