REC Silicon ASA ( (RNWEF) ) has issued an update.

REC Silicon ASA has secured shareholder approval for a fully underwritten rights issue of 4,078,000,000 new shares at NOK 0.2385 per share, aiming to raise gross proceeds of NOK 972.6 million, alongside a reduction in the nominal value of its share capital. The extraordinary general meeting also approved a refreshed board composition with Jong Wook Park elected as chair, and confirmed that the rights issue will be directed to eligible shareholders of record on 16 March 2026, a move that strengthens the company’s capital base and may support its strategic position in the solar and electronics materials markets.
