REC Silicon ASA ( (RNWEF) ) just unveiled an announcement.
REC Silicon ASA, a Norwegian producer of high-purity silicon gases for solar and electronics applications, is leveraging decades of proprietary process expertise to support customers globally. The group is headquartered in Lysaker and its shares trade on the Oslo Stock Exchange, reflecting its established position in advanced silicon materials.
The company has launched a fully underwritten rights issue of 4,078,000,000 new shares at NOK 0.2385 per share, aiming to raise gross proceeds of NOK 972.6 million. Trading in the transferable subscription rights on Euronext Oslo Børs under ticker RECST ends today at 16:30 CET, after which unsold or unused rights will lapse without compensation, making timing critical for existing shareholders and other eligible investors.
The subscription period for the rights issue continues until 7 April 2026 at 16:30 CEST, giving holders a limited window to exercise their preferential allocation in the capital raise. The offer is being arranged by Arctic Securities as manager and bookrunner, a structure that underpins the transaction’s execution certainty and underscores REC Silicon’s focus on shoring up its balance sheet through equity financing.
