REC Silicon ASA ( (RNWEF) ) has shared an announcement.
REC Silicon ASA has completed a fully underwritten rights issue of 4,078,000,000 new shares, largely taken up by Anchor AS at a subscription price of NOK 0.2385 per share. The transaction significantly reshapes the company’s ownership structure by concentrating control in the hands of a single major shareholder.
Following the rights issue, Anchor AS will hold about 92.96% of REC Silicon’s shares and voting rights, rising to approximately 93.13% after issuance of commission shares. Crossing the 2/3 and 90% thresholds under the Norwegian Securities Trading Act strengthens Anchor’s control, potentially paving the way for deeper strategic influence and possible future corporate actions affecting minority investors.
