The latest announcement is out from Real Brokerage ( (REAX) ).

On April 27, 2026, Real Brokerage agreed to acquire RE/MAX Holdings in a deal valuing the target at about $880 million to form Real REMAX Group, a technology-enabled global real estate platform. The combined business, uniting Real’s AI-powered brokerage with REMAX’s vast franchise network in more than 120 countries, would have generated roughly $2.3 billion in 2025 revenue and $157 million in adjusted EBITDA on a pro forma basis, and is expected to be accretive within the first full year after closing.

The transaction, slated to close in the second half of 2026 subject to approvals, offers RE/MAX shareholders a mix of stock or cash with overall cash between $60 million and $80 million, resulting in Real investors owning about 59% of the combined company. Management projects about $30 million in annual cost synergies by 2027, margin expansion and faster deleveraging, while maintaining the REMAX and Motto Mortgage brands and positioning Real REMAX Group, headquartered in Miami with major Denver operations, as a scaled, tech-led rival in global residential real estate.

The most recent analyst rating on (REAX) stock is a Buy with a $4.25 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Real Brokerage stock, see the REAX Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on REAX Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, REAX is a Neutral.

The score is supported most by improving fundamentals and liquidity (strong operating cash flow, no debt, narrowing losses) and a constructive earnings-call outlook for continued operating leverage despite near-term softness. Offsetting this, technicals are notably weak with the stock trading below major moving averages and negative momentum, and valuation is constrained by ongoing GAAP losses and no stated dividend yield.
