Radius Residential Care Ltd ( (NZ:RAD) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Radius Residential Care Limited has agreed to acquire the business and assets of the 90-bed Karori Village care home in Wellington for $13.6 million, subject only to standard regulatory approvals. The acquisition, which will become Radius Care’s 25th care home and its first in the upmarket Karori suburb, strengthens its national footprint in high-acuity hospital and dementia care for elderly New Zealanders.
Settlement is expected in late May 2026, with the purchase funded through the company’s core debt facilities. Radius Care expects the deal to be immediately accretive to FY27 net profit after tax, underlining its strategy of measured growth through acquiring large, well-located care homes and further cementing its role as a key health services provider in the aged care sector.
