Questcorp Mining, Inc. ( (TSE:QQQ) ) has shared an announcement.
Questcorp Mining reported preliminary results from a new 12.8 line-kilometre induced polarization survey at the Marisa Zone on its North Island Copper Project near Port Hardy, B.C. The data show a marked strengthening of the chargeability anomaly from around 150 metres down to the survey limit of 400 metres, implying that 1992 drilling likely tested only the outer shell of a larger porphyry system.
By integrating the 2026 survey with historical IP data into a 3D inversion model, the company has improved confidence in the continuity and geometry of the subsurface target. Combined with historical drill holes that showed copper grades increasing with depth, the results support the concept of a vertically extensive mineralized system, and Questcorp now plans to initiate permitting and design follow-up drilling to test the core of this deeper anomaly.
