Quess Corp Limited has announced that it received orders from the Office of the Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise concerning alleged violations related to the issuance of invoices without the underlying supply of goods or services. The company has been penalized Rs. 16.45 crores for these allegations, which pertain to financial years 2017-18 to 2022-23. Despite these claims, Quess Corp asserts that the penalty is not maintainable and plans to contest the order while maintaining that there is no impact on its financial or operational activities.
