Quantum Graphite Ltd, in partnership with Sunlands Energy Co., has received a non-binding financing proposal from the US EXIM Bank for up to $300 million, potentially boosting its Project Utile aimed at establishing a complete supply chain for refined flake graphite in the US. While the offer is contingent on due diligence and meeting the bank’s criteria, it could result in significant advancements in the domestic production of high purity graphite. The funding would support mining at Quantum Graphite’s historic Uley mine in South Australia and the production of high-purity graphite in South Carolina.
