Quadrise Fuels International ( (GB:QED) ) has shared an announcement.
Quadrise Plc has announced that long-serving director Laurie Mutch has stepped down from the board with immediate effect, ending a 20-year tenure during which he provided continuity, deep corporate knowledge and independent oversight. Mutch also leaves his roles as chairman of the audit committee and member of the remuneration and nomination committees, with his audit and remuneration responsibilities to be assumed by fellow director Michael Covington.
Following his resignation, Mutch will assist with transition and handover arrangements to support governance continuity as the company advances towards commercial scale-up of its low-emission fuel technologies. Chair Andy Morrison praised Mutch’s contribution to Quadrise’s evolution and governance standards, underscoring the importance of stable board oversight as the group positions itself within the decarbonisation of shipping and heavy industry.
Spark’s Take on QED Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, QED is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance (minimal revenue, ongoing losses, and persistent cash burn), partially offset by a solid low-debt balance sheet. Technicals are comparatively strong with positive momentum, while valuation is unattractive/unclear due to negative earnings and no dividend. The earnings call adds moderate support via defined milestones and near-term cash/receipts, but meaningful execution and timing risks remain.
