An update from Quebec Silica Resources Corp. ( (TSE:QIMC) ) is now available.
Québec Innovative Materials Corp. has reported strong hydrogen results from its second borehole, DDH-26-02, at the West Advocate project in Nova Scotia, where peak concentrations reached 8,249 ppmV at 434 metres. The readings are roughly 2.75 times higher than those from the first hole and show hydrogen occurring in multiple structurally controlled zones, with values increasing toward depth.
The company says elevated hydrogen persisted to the end of drilling at 500 metres, suggesting the system remains open and not yet fully defined. These results, which align with its pre-drill R2G2 targeting model and are overseen by independent scientific review, indicate a broader hydrogen-bearing system that could improve QIMC’s exploration prospects as further drilling tests deeper and along key fault trends.
