Pryme B.V. ( (DE:8XG0) ) has shared an announcement.
Pryme has temporarily halted testing at its Rotterdam plant after processing roughly 35 tons of plastic waste since 18 December, following the suspected failure of a gasket in the reactor discharge valve assembly, and now expects to resume its reactor testing programme by the end of January 2026 once the reactor is cooled and repairs or improvements are carried out with support from the original equipment manufacturer and other specialists. The company, which brought forward its December operational update, reported production of about 27 tons of pyrolysis oil for the month, indicating continued progress in ramping up industrial-scale output despite the technical setback, which may cause a short-term interruption but is framed as part of the commissioning and optimisation phase rather than a structural issue with its business model.
