Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,597,628 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.1652 each, with the intention of canceling them to potentially enhance shareholder value. Following this transaction, the company’s total number of shares in issue and voting rights stand at 2,719,167,244. This buyback was conducted in accordance with shareholder authority and fulfilled through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange.
