Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,417,267 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.1597 each, with the transaction facilitated by Goldman Sachs International. The purchased shares are to be cancelled, which will reduce the total number of shares in issue and subsequently alter the voting rights. This move follows the authorization given by Prudential’s shareholders at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
