Prudential plc has announced the purchase and subsequent cancellation of 1,287,095 of its own shares, acquired through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, with the aim of reducing its shares in issue to 2,722,182,139. This move, executed at prices ranging from GBP 6.0240 to GBP 6.1580 per share, follows the authorization granted by Prudential’s shareholders at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
