Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the repurchase of 1,429,788 of its ordinary shares at prices ranging between GBP 6.3060 and GBP 6.4180, with an average price of GBP 6.3803 per share. The shares were bought through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange and will be subsequently cancelled, leaving the total number of voting rights in the company at 2,726,308,374. This move is part of a share buyback program authorized by Prudential’s shareholders at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
