An update from Prudential ( (GB:PRU) ) is now available.

Prudential plc has repurchased 494,445 of its own ordinary shares of 5 pence each on 5 February 2026 from JP Morgan Securities plc, under an existing shareholder-approved buyback authority and previously announced arrangement. The shares, bought on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of £11.8709 and within a price range of £11.6850 to £12.1350, will be cancelled, reducing the number of shares in issue and total voting rights to 2,540,805,795, a move that marginally enhances remaining shareholders’ proportional ownership and may support the company’s capital management and share price over time.
