An update from Prudential ( (GB:PRU) ) is now available.

Prudential plc has repurchased 329,328 of its ordinary shares from JP Morgan Securities on 17 March 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of £10.9338, with prices ranging between £10.7650 and £11.0300. The buyback, conducted on the London Stock Exchange under UK and Hong Kong rules, will see all repurchased shares cancelled, reducing the company’s shares in issue and total voting rights to 2,530,727,972.

The transaction forms part of a previously announced share repurchase arrangement authorised at the 2025 AGM, signalling continued capital management efforts by Prudential. The reduced share count may enhance earnings per share and slightly increase existing investors’ relative ownership stakes, while updating the reference figure used for regulatory disclosure thresholds under UK transparency rules.
